ALKHOBAR: Families of two Saudis who were injured in an accident on King Fahd Causeway on Sunday said they were planning to sue the causeway authority for negligence, informed souces said yesterday.
The causeway management yesterday confirmed that two Saudi travelers were injured when an air-conditioning fan fell on them while they completed customs procedures. The two Saudis are being treated at a military hospital in Bahrain and are reportedly in serious condition.
The causeway management has set up a panel to investigate the cause of the accident, said Badr Al-Otaishan, director general of the causeway.
