With ‘focus’ on growth, SRPC achieves another milestone

JEDDAH: Saudi Research & Publishing Company (SRPC) yesterday added another feather in its cap with the launch of a new illustrated magazine — New Focus. “The magazine aims to provide all information required by readers without taking much of their valuable time,” the company said in a statement.

Providing articles in both Arabic and English, the magazine reflects SRPC’s desire to further develop the publishing industry, realizing the hopes and aspirations of modern readers. New Focus will be brought out monthly by Arriyadiyah sports daily, one of the publications of SRPC. “It will not be a news or views magazine but a new experiment for modern journalism,” the company said. “It will focus more on pictures as a proverb says a picture is worth a thousand words.” The company said the new magazine with attractive layout will fill the gap for such publications. Saad Al-Mahdi is the magazine’s editor in chief.
