ABHA: A shortage of cooking gas in some districts of Abha is attributed to the negligence of the owners of two LPG depots to pay up their accumulating bills.
Muhammad Abu Kharsha, director of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry’s branch in the city, told Arab News that the two gas stations were closed because the supplier, the National Gas Co., stopped delivering stock to them a week ago as they did not pay up SR200,000 in arrears owed to the company.
The official said alternative arrangements were being made to stock up depots in neighboring districts.
