OMAINTEC 7 opens today in Riyadh

JEDDAH: The 7th International Operation and Maintenance Conference in the Arab Countries (OMAINTEC 7) begins in Riyadh today.

Saudi Oger, a renowned construction company, is the “Platinum sponsor” of this important conference to run until Oct. 29 at the capital’s Intercontinental Hotel. The company is also a sponsor of the Hariri Arab Award for Operation and Maintenance.

OMAINTEC 7 brings together the regions engineers and specialists and provides opportunities in promoting exchange of expertise in developing and increasing performance and identifying national experiences.

The conference will also give an opportunity to identify engineering services in the operation and maintenance domain with increased development meaning to confront future challenges, in spite of the decrease of resources and allocated operation and maintenance budgets. For this purpose, worksheets will be presented by a number of experts under the slogan, “ World Class Maintenance.”

Mazen Fayed, Saudi Oger’s head of corporate communications, told Arab News, “We are honored to sponsor the event which is being held for the first time in the Saudi capital and we strongly believe that the workshops and case studies that will be presented in the event will advance the operation and maintenance industry in Saudi Arabia.”
