DUBAI: National Air Services Group (NAS Holding) has signed a five-year total component support agreement with Lufthansa Technik (LHT), which operates 30 production sites with more than 25,000 employees worldwide. The agreement covers up to 40 aircraft including services of several executive and VIP-jets, according to an announcement made at the Middle East Business Aviation Convention (MEBA) Exhibition in Dubai.
NAS Group fleet comprises 29 aircraft for its companies’ Nasair, Kayala and NetJets Middle East plus 65 aircraft under NAS Aircraft Management Service Projects. Moreover, both NAS Group and Lufthansa Technik are currently intensively evaluating further opportunities to cooperate in aircraft maintenance.
Sulaiman Al-Hamdan, NAS Group CEO, said that through this strategic agreement, LHT, the world-class leading company, will provide its technical and strategic support to NAS fleet operations by providing an open access to LHT aircraft’s inventory and shops to support the private and VIP fleet as well as NAS commercial fleet.
