JEDDAH: Dubai’s winter activities are in focus during road shows being currently organized in the Kingdom’s three major cities.
Dubai, with its mild winter, has impressive sites, palm tree beaches, desert safaris, endless shopping, and a multitude of activities for children, participants of the road show said.
The Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) in the government of Dubai is conducting the road shows in a bid to attract Saudi visitors.
“We are aware of the global financial crisis. However, its impact, if any, is negligible,” Mohammed K. Hareb Al-Muhairy, executive director for operations and marketing of DTCM, told a press conference at Laylaty Hall here.
This will be followed by another road show in Alkhobar today and a third in Riyadh on Saturday.
