DAMMAM: A new credit hour system will be applied on 15 percent of secondary schools in the Kingdom by the next academic year, said Saleh Al-Shaie, director general of secondary education at the Ministry of Education.
He was speaking to reporters on the occasion of the first secondary school forum that begins in Alkhobar today. Al-Shaie said 300 delegates from the Kingdom and Gulf countries would attend the forum, to be opened by Prince Jalawi bin Abdul Aziz bin Musaed, deputy governor of the Eastern Province.
It will discuss about 30 working papers, focusing mainly on the credit hour system. Education Minister Abdullah Al-Obaid will attend the opening session.
