RIYADH: Prince Faisal bin Abdullah, chief of the Saudi Red Crescent Society, has ordered the supply of 432 tons of pure water to the people of Gaza, said Dr. Khalid Al-Hibshi, head of a Saudi medical team dispatched to help Gazans.

“It is a gift from the Saudi Red Crescent Society to the Palestinian people in Gaza who are suffering and living in terrible humanitarian conditions due to the Israeli siege,” said Al-Hibshi, whose team is currently located at the Egyptian port of Al-Areesh.

“Part of the consignment has been passed to the strip and the remaining is on its way,” he added. Prince Faisal has also ordered the sending of 50 tons of children’s milk, juices and cheese.
