RIYADH: Absal Group Dart Team headed by team captains Orencio Vargas and Victor Geslani under the direction of team manager Nilo Gammad dominated MEGG darters during the second round of the 30th Inter-commercial Dart Team tournament organized by the Expat Darters of Saudi Arabia (EDSA) at the basement level of Manila Plaza in Batha on Friday.
Absal’s veteran gunners Philip Agliam, Rey Olid, Sergs Alibangbang and Tonet Villejo and their MEGG rivals had a toe-to-toe battle in the singles matches that ended 4-4. But then Absal fielded their best pairs in the doubles event in Philip Agliam-Denis Santos, Sergs Alibangbang-Tonet Villejo, and Vic Vijiga-Victor Geslani to lift the team to victory. The final score was 10-9. Wakaray darters showed awesome strength and defeated last season’s champion Mazen Talal team 10-9.
The gunners of KR-JOH Darteros were completely silenced by Shouaa Factory Dart Team with their stunning performance to end the game with final score of 13-6.
Alesayi dart team headed by their hardworking team captain Adrian Tolentino defeated the Demolition Dart 12-7.
