RIYADH: A community aid organization, called ‘Bravo Pakistan Forum’ (BPF), organized a free three-day medical camp, in which more than 1,100 patients were examined and given free medicines. A multidisciplinary team of 47 doctors were at hand with all necessary equipment to check the patients, carry out necessary investigations and provide expert consultations, said Naveed-ur-Rahman, BPF patron-in-chief, yesterday.

Rahman said that BPF has emerged as a major social organization, which is now fully geared to serve Pakistani expatriates in the Kingdom. “It does not mean that we are no longer committed to extend support to others,” said Rahman, while adding that the doors of BPF are open for everyone in need including our Saudi brothers.

Rahman said the camp, at the Pakistan International School, Riyadh (PISR), was mainly organized to serve the needy section of Pakistani society.

He thanked community leader, Dr. Amjad Rana of Ghouri Hospital, who cooperated with his entire crew and equipment, for his services. He also thanked all doctors and volunteers for their support including Nadir Alam, PISR principal, who extended all support to make the camp successful.
