Student chases teacher in Taif to take revenge

TAIF: A high school student in Al-Muwayah, north of Taif, attempted to assault a teacher after a vehicular chase after school on Wednesday.

The student was seeking revenge on the teacher for punishing him in front of others for not completing homework. After school the student began chasing his teacher’s car in Al-Muwayah streets and managed to pull him off the road. Other teachers who witnessed the chase were pursuing the student; they prevented him from harming the teacher.

Eyewitnesses said the student was carrying a weapon. The teacher filed a complaint with Taif police and the student was arrested. Police are still investigating the incident.
