RIYADH: Injaz Development Company, a Saudi-based property developer, will announce a major new real estate project in the northern part of the capital city at the 12th Real Estate Exhibition in Riyadh from Sunday, the company’s managing director Omar Abdullah Al-Kadi said here yesterday.
Prince Miteb, minister of municipal and rural affairs, is slated to inaugurate the exhibition. Injaz is one of the key sponsors of the exhibition this year, which will be held at the new Riyadh International Exhibition Center.
Al-Kadi thanked Prince Miteb for his support to the exhibition and the real estate sector. He said the royal support for such events would help the sector achieve its objectives of supporting the country’s development and meeting the growing demand for commercial and residential property.
Injaz is committed to developing large-scale, world-class real estate projects in the Kingdom. Al-Kadi said Injaz’s projects are based on in-depth research of the sector and community needs, and the selection of northern Riyadh is an example of the company’s judicious approach to selecting project locations.
“Northern Riyadh is emerging as an important location in the capital city’s development,” he added.
Referring to Injaz’s previously unveiled Marina project in the Eastern Province, Al-Kadi said the project would pioneer the concept of master development of mixed properties in the national real estate market.
“Marina, our unique flagship project in the Eastern Province on the Arabian Gulf will be built over 3.3 million square meters with 4 km of waterfront,” he noted.
“Our focus is on building communities and we intend to bring together the resources required to build modern communities without losing our traditional values. Our projects will look after all the needs of residents and occupants in a holistic way, providing infrastructure facilities and amenities including streets and mosques.”
Injaz Development Company was established in 2006 in Riyadh as a Saudi investment company and a master developer. It is specialized in designing and building comprehensive projects that form “cities within cities.” It also acts as a real estate consulting company and investor.
Marina, Injaz’s first project, is considered one of the most important among the Kingdom’s real estate projects. It is located on the Alkhobar-Dammam corridor on the seafront, and will consist of residential units and commercial buildings, supported by infrastructure and community amenities such as roads, mosques and recreational facilities.
