AL-JOUF: Police in the town of Tabarjal in the Al-Jouf province have arrested the prime suspect in the murder of a 30-year old woman yesterday.
"A 17 year old youth was arrested in connection with the murder of his step mother. He said in his confession statement that he entered his father's bedroom while he had gone for the noon prayer and attacked his father's second wife who he accused of creating problems in his family," said Col. Daman Al-Daraan, spokesman for Al-Jouf Police.
"At first he beat her with a stick and later hit her over the head with a large antique jar," he added.
The youth's father discovered his wife's body and reported the crime to police. Investigations are continuing.
