Al-JOUF: Special forces in Sakaka surrounded a farm yesterday on Kyal Road in search of two men who tried to kidnap a 13-year-old boy.
The action began when a pickup truck with three passengers approached a checkpoint. When the vehicle came near the checkpoint, a boy who was inside the car, shouted for help saying that he was kidnapped. Sensing the danger, those inside the car tried to drive off. Security personnel present at the checkpoint chased the pickup and managed to force the vehicle to stop on the side of the road. The driver was arrested but the other two men managed to escape.
Security personnel cordoned off the farm where the two men were suspected to be hiding and a hunt was under way. The boy was rescued and he is in good health.
