RIYADH: Mobily yesterday announced a special discount in which all prepaid and postpaid clients can make international calls for a mere 55 halalas after the first minute.
The rate will apply from 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. every day till May 18. During those hours, all subscribers except those with the Rehal package, international roamers and satellite phone users, can enjoy calling their loved ones all over the world.
Mobily also announced that as of today, all prepaid and postpaid subscribers will get 30 minutes of free video calls to other Mobily numbers.
The 30 minutes are valid for three months from the date of subscription. All that subscribers have to do is send an SMS to 1100 containing the code “VC”.
David Murphy, Mobily’s chief marketing officer, said that the chain of promotions Mobily is launching aim to give its subscribers a premium service that keeps them in touch with their loved ones at the most affordable rates. He added that subscribers are given the chance to test-drive the video service before subscribing.
