Woman’s body found in Makkah

MAKKAH: Police have launched an investigation following the discovery of the body of an unidentified woman in the early hours of yesterday in the Al-Jaraana area of Makkah.

Police have not disclosed the woman’s age or nationality. Forensic experts visited the location to gather evidence to determine the cause of death and ascertain whether there is any criminal involvement.

In a similar incident in the city last month, the body of a woman in her 30s was discovered in a wheelchair in the Al-Mansour district. A passerby noticed that the woman was not moving and called the Saudi Red Crescent thinking she was sick. Paramedics declared the woman dead at the scene.
