DAMMAM: Police arrested two men who impersonated policemen to rob money and cell phones from taxi drivers.
Col. Yousuf Al-Qahtani, spokesman for the Eastern Province police, said police received several complaints about the men’s operations. Undercover officers launched an investigation and were soon able to arrest the two men.
“One of the two suspects is a 32-year-old Saudi. The other is a 26-year-old man from an Arab country. We were able to link the two men to a series of similar crimes,” Al-Qahtani said.
