TAIF: Police in Taif are searching for a woman in her 30s who escaped from a mental hospital in Taif with an unknown man on Sunday.
The woman had been brought to the hospital for treatment. She escaped while hospital staff was busy with admission papers. The hospital notified the authorities about the woman and police launched a manhunt.
Saeed Al-Zahrani, official spokesman for Health Affairs in Taif, said that the girl came with her family. “She was examined in the hospital’s emergency section and one of the doctors said she would need to be admitted. She escaped before this could happen,” he said.
