AL-JOUF: An Indonesian maid was held recently in the Al-Qurayat area north of Jeddah after she was found to be HIV positive.
A source said the woman was diagnosed as carrying the AIDS virus at Al-Qurayat General Hospital where she had come for a regular checkup.
The woman is being kept in an isolation ward inside the hospital while deportation procedures are being completed.
The woman is thought to have arrived in the Kingdom two months ago.
