JEDDAH: In line with cooperation and coordination between Bab Rizq Jameel (BRJ), an initiative of Abdul Latif Jameel Community Services Programs (ALJCSP), and the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF), 40 women entrepreneurs signed an aid agreement with the HRDF for starting small projects.
According to the terms of the agreement, the HRDF will give the women entrepreneurs a monthly stipend to help them meet their family needs during the period required for establishing the projects.
The BRJ has provided the businesswomen with interest-free loans and secured for them locations inside Bab Rizq Jameel centers.
As per the agreement, the HRDF will deposit a monthly amount in the bank account of each beneficiary. The fund will also supplement the salaries of Saudi workers in the project.
The beneficiary will then submit to the HRDF documents to prove that she had received BRJ's support, she has been working full time in her project and that she has no other job.
Period of the agreement is two years, while payment of the aid begins three months after signing the agreement.
Initially the monthly stipend is SR2,000, but it will be raised to SR3,000 in the second year.
