American Muslims, Muslim Students and Muslim Dignitaries and participants from around the world converged on Washington D.C. to attend the 46th Annual ISNA (Islamic Society of North America) Convention. Over the four day weekend of the July 4th United States Independence Day Holiday, ISNA provided an outstanding venue, (the D C Convention Center) excellent speakers, challenging workshops, Islamic Art Exhibit, National Quranic recitation competition, seminars, Islamic Film Festival, and a bazaar for the families and participants that attended. The Convention also provided a great number of families the opportunity to visit America’s Capital and experience the great Fireworks display on the fourth of July. The theme of the convention was “Life Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness”.
Programs and topics were divided so families could select and split up each covering what their main interest were. The Muslim Students Association (MSA) held their National Continental Conference along with the ISNA convention.
