JEDDAH: For the first time in the tournament Pacific Storm was not in the lead after Al Areesh took over after nine weeks in the Thursday Bowling League 4th Season at the Sultana Mall’s Bowling City here.

The end for Pacific Storm and the beginning of a reign for Areesh came when Pacific tumbled to fifth for 24 points and Areesh shared Team of the Week honors on 31 points with Al-Vencav and Boleros.

D’ Barkads, holder of the Team of the Week award for three straight weeks, tallied 26 points. Cool Change came through with 20 points, while Hataw IV, Parachutte and Cannon Balls brought up the rear on 19.5, 17 and 16.5 points.

Areesh gained a double when Andy Yumena romped off with the Bowler of the Week honors after shooting the high series of 648 onlines of 201, 223 and 191.

Boleros, Areesh and Vencav kept close watch of each other throughout the three-game session.

And Areesh, Vencav and Boleros finished in that order in overall output at 10, 9, and 8 points.
