RIYADH: Saudi Hollandi Bank (SHB) recently opened a new Islamic banking branch in Ghadeer, north of Riyadh, with the Teller Cash Recycler (TCR) system, which is introduced for the first time in the Kingdom, said Managing Director Bernd Fan Lender. He said the new system would save the time and energy of customers as well as bank staff whilst ensuring high accuracy and efficiency in services.

Addressing a press conference on the sidelines of the opening ceremony, Lender described TCR as the most advanced system for cash management and automated cash deposit and withdrawal.

“It is our pleasure to be the first bank in the Kingdom to introduce the TCR system. By introducing it we have made a major leap at the level of retail banking, and this will enhance our position as one of the leaders in local banking business,” he added.

Ehab Al-Dabbagh, personal banking general manager, said the system enables branch tellers to perform transactions with higher accuracy and efficiency.
