RIYADH: Alinma Bank has completed the installation of more than 70 ATMs. They are operational throughout the Kingdom since the bank began its operation in the second this year.
“This was done as part of the bank’s strategy to provide around-the-clock service to its customers via various electronic channels in general and via its ATM network in particular,” Abdulmohsen Abdulaziz Al Fares, chief executive officer, said.
Alinma’s ATM network currently extends to Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Alkhobar, Hofuf, Taif, Khamis Mushayt, Madinah and Makkah. “These cities and the ATM locations in each were selected after a thorough study that examined population density, accessibility and commercial movement.”
Fares said that the expansion of the ATM network, which is considered the most technically advanced in the Kingdom, reflects the interest of the bank to be near its partners and the public and to remain in constant contact with them. He noted that the bank was making the utmost efforts to expand its ATM presence to different regions and to meet the needs and aspirations of bank partners. Al-Fares indicated that the bank planned to have 100 ATMs by the end of the current year.
The bank also seeks, through all of its electronic channels, including Alinma Phone 8001208000 and Alinma Internet www.alinma.com to ensure that partners will have easy access to the bank’s Shariah-compliant services.
The ATM network expansion takes place in conjunction with the opening of additional branches. The bank’s most recent branches include those in Hofuf, Khamis Mushayt, Jubail and Dammam. Alinma plans to continue this expansion throughout the Kingdom and to add a number of women’s branches in cities such as Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam, Jubail and Taif.
