RIYADH: Police in Riyadh arrested two youths in their 20s who stole a car and used it to rob stores. The two thieves were spotted in a stolen 2009 Nissan car driving at high speed in the Al-Hazem neighborhood.
When police ordered the driver to stop, he refused and drove off. The car then crashed into a sidewalk. The two youths abandoned the vehicle and ran off on foot. Police, however, arrested the two and took them to a police station for questioning.
In a related news, police in Riyadh arrested a 22-year-old Chadian who robbed several stores in the city. Police also recovered a stole car that the man used to commit his robberies. The car contained money and a stolen passport belonging to a Yemeni man.
