MAKKAH: Four people were injured when an elevator in a four floor furnished apartment building in Makkah fell to the first floor. Three of the injured were treated at the location while the fourth was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The Civil Defense ruled out foul play, adding that the accident was caused by a technical fault.
