JEDDAH: Mujahideen (a wing of the security forces) spokesman Khaled Al-Gzaiz confirmed a large amount of hash had been found during a vehicle search in the main road leading to Al-Khoba.

The drugs, weighing around 47kg, had been loaded onto a motorcycle driven by two men.

A police patrol unit also discovered a small liquor factory hidden in the bushes in Sebya valley.

Around 8,750 liters of liquor was confiscated as well as the equipment used to make it.

Mujahideen director Ghallab Abu Kushaim said they were stepping up efforts to crack down on anyone thinking of dealing in drugs and alcohol.
