75 prisoners released in Yanbu

JEDDAH: Around 75 prisoners have been released from prison in Yanbu to mark the occasion of Crown Prince Sultan’s return.

The committee involved in their release, which is comprised of representatives from the Yanbu Governorate, prison management and the police, is studying other cases eligible for pardoning.

The released prisoners were given booklets and pamphlets on religious guidance and awareness.

Prince Sultan, who is also Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense and Aviation, returned after receiving medical treatment abroad.
