JEDDAH: Sheikh Saleh Al-Hosain, head of the Presidency of the Two Holy Mosques, has opposed discrimination against expatriate workers when providing health services.
“It is not allowed in Islam to provide health care to citizens at the expense of expatriate residents,” Al-Watan Arabic daily quoted Al-Hosain as saying on Thursday.
Al-Hosain made this comment while attending a forum organized by Zamzam Charitable Society for Health Services in Jeddah.
He said endowment properties could be utilized for providing health services. He emphasized the need for establishing health endowments in the Kingdom, adding that it would improve health situation of people in the country.
