JEDDAH: A Jeddah court has sentenced two brothers to two years in jail and 300 lashes after they beat up their 18-year-old sister in the street, Madinah reported. The two brothers pulled the girl by her hair and kicked her to the ground because she had left with her mother to visit a relative. Police arrived at the location after receiving reports of the attack and arrested the brothers. The sister was taken to the hospital for treatment. The court sentenced them to jail for beating up the girl and taking off her hijab.
