TAIF: An elderly Saudi man was left seriously injured after being attacked by one of his camels, a local newspaper reported. The man was inspecting his livestock when he was attacked by the camel, which bit him and trampled over him. The man was rushed to a hospital for treatment to his injuries, including broken bones, and was reported to be in stable condition.
 

RANIAH: A pharmacist in Raniah was arrested after administering an injection on an asthma sufferer who then died. According to the dead man’s brother, the pharmacist administered an injection on his brother for his asthma who then later collapsed. He added that his brother was taken to Raniah General Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival. The pharmacist has been arrested while police continue with their investigations.
 

Al-KHARJ: Police in Al-Kharj arrested an Asian gang which harbored runaway maids and drivers and found them jobs, a local newspaper reported. Police arrested the gang after a Saudi man filed a report that his maid had runaway and stolen jewelry. The maid’s arrest in Riyadh led officers to the gang.
 

HAFR AL-BATEN: A Civil Defense officer died after suffering serious injuries while rescuing an Egyptian worker caught in a blaze. The officer was taken to King Khaled Hospital where he was in intensive care for a week before dying.
 

DAMMAM: Police are still searching for the body of a man who is alleged to have been killed in 2007 and then buried in the desert in the Al-Khafji province, Al-Riyadh newspaper reported. A year later, police arrested two men who confessed to killing the man because he had taken nude pictures of them and threatened to distribute them. Police have been searching for the man’s body ever since. The two men insist they buried the man 80 kilometers outside Al-Khafji city. The local judge has delayed issuing a decision on the case until a body is found.
 

DAHRAN: A Nepali worker died on Monday after being hit by a train in Dhahran. The man was hit while attempting to cross a railway track to go home. The man died instantly. Police ruled out the possibility that he might have committed suicide.
 

WADI AL-DAWASER: Police in Wadi Al-Dawaser are questioning four high school students who were involved in a brawl that left one student with a serious head injury. The fight took place at the beginning of the school day.
