RIYADH: A man was recently arrested in Riyadh for impersonating a police officer and brandishing a gun. The impersonator was arrested after he stopped a car carrying a man and his family, and took out his gun saying he wanted to search the man. He then fled after the victim telephoned the police. Police circulated the man’s description and were able to arrest him within a short time. The man was found with SR7,500 in his possession.
