At both these historic gatherings I was interviewed several times. I found myself greatly respected expressing my views concerning the tensions in the Middle East. As a Jew, as a Rabbi, your paper was most interested in my journey.
This was particularly true when it came to the journey that I have shared with my dear friend, Dr. Nazir Khaja. For over a decade we have traveled around the world with particular interest in the Middle East. We have met with heads of state in Syria, Lebanon, Ramallah, Tel Aviv and Jerusalem to name a few. We have been involved in the release of American soldiers in Belgrade, Yugoslavia, and have been involved in negotiations in other situations.
I find Arab News to be honorable and fair in its reporting. Your voice is needed more than ever.
I congratulate you on your journalistic achievements on your 35th anniversary. Blessings. Shalom, Salaam.
