Three killed in road crash after driver suffers heart attack

The driver and two Umrah pilgrims, an old woman and her young daughter, were killed.
The accident happened when a family of seven from Brunei was traveling from Makkah to Madinah in a hired minibus.
According to a traffic police source, the driver suffered a heart attack and lost control of the vehicle. The bus then swerved from the road and collided with a truck.
Three of the survivors are in a critical condition after suffering injuries to their spinal cords and ribs. They are currently being treated in intensive care at hospital.
The other two passengers only required first aid.
The Brunei ambassador and other officials visited the patients and have offered necessary assistance.
