The drunken man is alleged to have shot and killed his brother first before turning on his cousins, both men and aged 22 and 73. He is then said to have fled the area.
Qassim police spokesman Capt. Muhammad Al-Mahmoud said a man was arrested two hours after the shooting and officers are still investigating the crime.
Early investigations revealed that the killer first called his brother inside the house before beating him up and shooting him dead.
The two cousins, who were outside the house at the time, heard the shot and broke into the house.
The man then shot the older man in his stomach, injuring him badly, before firing at the other cousin. The younger man was also hit in the stomach, but is said to be in a stable condition.
