Microsoft Office 2010 and Microsoft SharePoint 2010, as well as Microsoft Visio 2010 and Microsoft Project 2010, have become available for business customers worldwide. Microsoft’s Office 2010 and SharePoint 2010 beta programs were the largest ever. As a result, more than 8.6 million people have already experienced Office 2010 and related products. In addition, more than 1,000 partners are already building solutions for the 2010 set of products.
With a familiar productivity experience across the PC, phone and browser, Office 2010 and related products deliver new capabilities to help people connect and collaborate with co-authoring in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Office PowerPoint and Microsoft OneNote. Microsoft Outlook offers advanced e-mail management and calendaring capabilities and there’s a new Microsoft Outlook Social Connector, which brings communication history and social network feeds directly into Outlook. Help ideas come to life with video, text and image editing, along with new broadcast capabilities in PowerPoint, auto-previewing in Word, easy document preparation through the new Microsoft Office Backstage view and new Sparklines in Excel for precise trend and data visualization.
Microsoft Office Web Apps are the online companions to Word, PowerPoint, Excel and OneNote. Along with easy access to documents from virtually anywhere, Web Apps help preserve the look and feel of a document regardless of device. To learn more about what the new Microsoft productivity solutions can offer businesses, go to www.the2010event.com. At launch, the site was available in more than 20 languages — but not Arabic.

The Victoria collection from novero, is designed to combine fashion with purpose. Victoria captures the beauty of finely crafted jewelry, adding to it the ease of Bluetooth hands-free innovation. On display at the collection’s debut in London were both the standard Victoria line jewelry and “la premiere edition” — which consisted of five commissioned pieces fashioned from precious metals and jewels valued at more than $120,000 each. On the collection’s unveiling, the CEO and founder of novero, Razvan Olosu said, “The Victoria line showcases beauty’s victory over cold technology. No longer will those who appreciate the finer things have their sense of style disrupted by unattractive accessories.”
The Victoria collection encompasses precious materials from gold and silver, to lapis lazuli and diamonds. The gemstones in the Bluetooth earpieces are set using the pavé technique, which nicely distracts from the Bluetooth elements of the jewelry. Olosu stated that it will be possible for clients to commission their own premier edition of each piece in the collection, incorporating any jewels they desire.
