Hussain said he was kidnapped and detained by Israeli troops while aboard a Gaza-bound aid flotilla.
Addressing a press conference, Hussain said, “I was unlawfully kidnapped by Israeli commandos from international waters and detained.” Hussain added he was taking legal opinion to motivate world courts against Israeli high-handedness.
Hussain, executive director of news at AAJ TV, was picked up by Israeli commandos from the Freedom Flotilla and taken to Israeli last week.
He said the Israeli attack on the flotilla was an act of desperation carried out in the darkness of the Mediterranean Sea on hundreds of unarmed innocent activists and journalists.
He expressed his resolve to accompany other relief flotillas to Gaza. As a journalist, I cannot form an ideology but as a journalist I will report future events concerning Gaza.
He also described Israel an insecure state.
