The father was not injured in the attack.
According to the police, the son waited for his father in a public street in Baqqa area of Hail, and fired at him several times before fleeing the scene.
Police didn’t say when the shooting took place, but the son was apprehended on Saturday.
Spokesman for Hail police Lt. Col. Abdul Aziz Al-Znairi refused to comment on the incident.
