Under instructions by Prince Naif, the Department for Umrah Services has made it imperative on all Umrah tour companies to send Jordanian pilgrims throughout the week and not wait until Thursdays and Fridays, as is the current situation.
Meanwhile, the Health Affairs Department in Makkah has asked the Haj Ministry to make sure that pilgrims carry on their identity cards on coming to any hospital in Makkah for treatment.
The department noted that many of the pilgrims who come to King Abdulaziz Hospital and other health centers in Makkah do not carry any documents proving their identities.
The Health Ministry has asked Umrah tour providers to supply the pilgrims with photocopies of their passports or entry visas so as to make easy for hospitals to serve them.
