The budding salesmen will join an integrated training program to acquire sales skills and professional experience before they are offered jobs at the group. The company will provide the training.
Executive Director of BRJ Saudi Arabia Abdulrahman Al-Fihaid and Rolaco’s Human Resources Director Nada Al-Olaqi, who was also representing the group, signed the agreement.
Al-Olaqi stated that the company was seeking to develop young Saudi men professionally and was looking forward to cooperating with BRJ in achieving the goal of contributing toward job creation and societal development.
The Abdulaziz Abdullah Al-Sulaiman Group acts as the agent for Nissan’s diesel trucks, forklifts and Cato wrenches. The company also handles sales for LG’s switchgears and horizontal perforation equipment.
Al-Fihaid said the creation of job opportunities for young Saudis was important in societal development.
The Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) has also signed a support agreement with the group.
The training period is six months, including a theoretical and practical session.
The program is designed to provide trainees with sales skills and behaviors that empower them to achieve their field tasks and provide them with self-development skills.
The program includes an English language course in marketing and sales, training on how to interact with suppliers and dealers, and develops e-marketing skills.
At the end of the training period, graduates receive a certificate from the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC). They are also given a SR1,500 allowance from the HRDF on a monthly basis.
BRJ is an initiative of Abdul Latif Jameel Community Services Programs.
