Shoura Council Chairman Abdullah Al-Asheikh recently presented a check as a donation to the leader of the Cote d’Ivoire delegation. Al-Asheikh said the contribution was made on instructions from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah.
Frigbo Basil, chairman of the Saudi-Ivorian Parliamentary Friendship Committee, expressed his deep appreciation to King Abdullah for the assistance. He also thanked the Shoura Council for facilitating the exchange of expertise between the two countries in parliamentary affairs.
In a message to Al-Asheikh, Basil praised the Kingdom’s generous support for other countries, particularly Muslim nations in times of natural and man-made disasters.
He thanked his Saudi counterpart Mohammed bin Amin Al-Jafri for the hospitality shown during the recent visit of Cote d’Ivoire Parliamentary Friendship Committee members to the Shoura Council headquarters in Riyadh.
