On receiving a call for help from the victims a police patrol rushed to the location.
Police discovered the man hiding in a farm in the neighborhood. During the arrest they also seized 11 rounds of ammunition from the man's car. Two mobile phones taken from the laborers were also retrieved.
They said the man shot at them when they resisted his attempts to rob them of their money and mobile phones. The wounded victims were given first-aid at a nearby hospital, a police source said.
