According to a report in Tuesday’s edition of Al-Madinah newspaper, a 60-year-old Saudi man hired the woman to find a Syrian government official to be his daughter’s husband and paid her the money and also gave her the title to the land. The woman claimed she had a match that the father was looking for.
The marriage took place, but it turned out that the groom was not a Syrian government official, so the marriage was annulled — but not before the woman disappeared with the cash and the deed and... wait a second?
