Saleh Awad, the Yemeni, said he had worked as a salesman in a textile shop of a Saudi businessman. After some time, he worked at a honey shop belonging to the same sponsor.
“My sponsor did not pay my salary for a year. When I stopped working the sponsor accused me of becoming mad,” the Yemeni said, adding that the sponsor used a false medical report to prove his claim. The sponsor filed a case against him at Muntazahat police station, which detained him for 15 days. The police released him when it was discovered he was not the person mentioned in the medical report. But the sponsor said Awad worked only for three months with him.
