No fines for smoking at airports yet: GACA

GACA spokesman Khalid Al-Khaibari said the magazine did not speak to them before publishing the report. “GACA has consulted officials … and will implement the smoking fines as soon as we get an approval,” he said.
The magazine quoted the president of GACA as saying that the system would be launched this month if procedures are completed. The magazine is published by the Ministry of Health’s anti-smoking program, and is distributed for free to members of the public.
