The General Organization for Grain Silos and Flour Mills with arrears exceeding SR11 million topped the list of indebted establishments. The organization uses six properties, including warehouses, at the JIP.
“Efforts are being made to settle the arrears. The properties of the JIP are let on the basis of policies approved by the Ministry of Finance,” said SPA President Abdul Aziz Al-Tuweijri in a statement to Al-Madinah newspaper.
The list includes the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology with unpaid rents amounting to SR9.3 million for 9,163 square meters of space followed by the Directorate of the Border Guard for SR4.1 million, the Customs House for SR3 million, the Ministry of Agriculture for SR1.4 million, the Passport Department for SR500,000, Civil Defense for SR870,000, the Saudi Red Crescent for SR269,000, the Western Region Airbase for SR317,000 and the Interior Ministry for SR2.6 million.
