The Official Charts Company said Adele's second album had
sold more than 208,000 copies in the first week of release, making it the
biggest selling January album for five years.

Adkins also achieved the rare feat of having two albums in the top five
simultaneously, with her first record "19" at number four. In the
singles chart Nashville-raised Kesha went straight in at number one with her
former US number one hit, the top ten featuring only two other new entries.
Chase and Status' "Blind Faith" featuring Liam Bailey went in at
number five, while Chris Brown's "Yeah 3X" came in at number 10,
giving the American singer and actor his twelfth singles chart top 40 hit.
