They were participants in d water sports events, a spokesman of Border Guards said.
"While one of the men was given first aid, the other died on the beach before taking to hospital," said spokesman of Border Guards Cap. Saleh Al-Shehri.
The three-day contests organized by Saudi Arabian Maritime Sports Federation were opened on Wednesday.
Many accidents and drowning have taken place in Obhur, where people practice various water games in recent times. Few weeks ago a woman and her daughter were killed in accident while practicing jet skiing. Public has been demanding special guards and rescuers in Obur so that rescue operations could be undertaken quickly and lives could be saved.
