“The response is good and encouraging,” said Dhiraj Saha, international project manager at Access MBA Tour, during the program hosted at Movenpick Hotel in Jeddah.
The program featured Master of Business Administration (MBA) courses by institutions including the University of Manchester, University of Liverpool, and College of Business Administration. “Our MBA program in Saudi Arabia is duly approved by the Ministry of Higher Education,” Gil Alcaraz of Jeddah-based CBA said.
Aside from a panel discussion, the event also provided one-to-one meetings between the universities and MBA aspirants. “I have been keen on obtaining an MBA degree and this event has enabled me to consider various institutions for the purpose under one roof,” said Saudi student Mohammed Abdul Aziz.
The CBA's MBA program is a two-year master’s degree. The program is distinguished by its learning methodology and the curriculum follows a worldwide standard. Classes are in English and course requirements include research by students.
Additionally, the 48-credit curriculum offers a comprehensive framework for providing knowledge, tools and skills of entrepreneurship and initiative ability of today's business leaders to manage business organizations in an increasingly competitive business environment.
The Manchester Global MBA is a part-time course and one of the toughest around, said Saadeldine El Hajj, corporate relationship manager at the University of Manchester's Business School based at Dubai Knowledge Village.
“The three-year Manchester Global MBA is highly flexible and portable, meets the needs of busy executives and fits around your personal and professional commitments,” he added.
“Our proven blend of robust academic theory and practical, hands-on experience means you can start putting your learning into practice from day one, providing immediate benefits for you and your employer without putting your career on hold.”
“We have dedicated international centers where you can attend your residential workshops in Dubai, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore, Miami and Rio de Janeiro,” he said, adding that the residential workshops are the highlight of the program for all students.
The MBA program offered by the University of Liverpool’s Management School is a thoroughly modern MBA designed to meet the business challenges of the 21st century, a school spokesman said.
