Police began searching for the criminal after a relative of the teacher informed them of the killing in Dhahrat Laban. There were stab wounds on the victim’s body.
“We set up a team of highly efficient criminal investigation officers to track down the killer as quickly as possible,” the Riyadh police said.
Police were in a difficult situation to crack the ambiguity of the case as neither the dead man’s relatives nor his friends gave them any evidence or clues to start their investigation.
Security agents then questioned a number of people related to the teacher, which helped them to identify the killer who had been in hiding since the murder. Police then apprehended the man and arrested him.
The killer, also an African, admitted that he stabbed the teacher to death following a dispute.
